You will need to supply all your own equipment eg tables, marquee, etc. Please note all power leads need to be tested and tagged. You are also required to have your own public liability insurance for $20 million and comply with health and safety standards. Food vendors must hold a temporary food stall licence (contact Council’s Environmental Health Officer); or a Queensland mobile food stall licence. All food stallholders are required to serve / sell in a safe manner in accordance with National Food Safety Standards.
This year the Cooroy Fusion Festival 2020 Committee is adopting a ‘Target Zero’ strategy (Zero Plastic, Zero Waste, Zero Carbon, Zero Footprint) and we ask all our sponsors and stall holders to join us in this endeavour. No plastic packaging or balloons are allowed, nor single-use plastic water bottles. This approach supports the Noosa Shire Council Guidelines for Sustainable Events.
All stallholders are requested to support this strategy by adhering to the following:
- All packaging and food utensils must be reusable or compostable. Single-use drink containers are to be eliminated.
- No plastic bags or soft plastic wrapping is to be supplied or sold to the public. Where unavoidable, signage or other materials should be provided to offer information about proper disposal.
- No balloons (helium or regular)
