Food Stall Application

The Cooroy Fusion Festival is being held on Saturday 9 May 2020 at Apex Park and The Lower Mill site in Cooroy. We forecast approx. 8,000 attendees.
The 2020 Fusion Festival is being organised by the Cooroy Fusion committee and is being auspiced by the Cooroy Future Group Inc. Stalls are offered on a space only basis at $130 gst included for a 3m x 3m space (or $210 gst included for a 6m x 3m space) including power if required.

You will need to supply all your own equipment eg tables, marquee, etc.  Please note all power leads need to be tested and tagged. You are also required to have your own public liability insurance for $20 million and comply with health and safety standards. Food vendors must hold a temporary food stall licence (contact Council’s Environmental Health Officer); or a Queensland mobile food stall licence. All food stallholders are required to serve / sell in a safe manner in accordance with National Food Safety Standards.

This year the Cooroy Fusion Festival 2020 Committee is adopting a ‘Target Zero’ strategy (Zero Plastic, Zero Waste, Zero Carbon, Zero Footprint) and we ask all our sponsors and stall holders to join us in this endeavour. No plastic packaging or balloons are allowed, nor single-use plastic water bottles.  This approach supports the Noosa Shire Council Guidelines for Sustainable Events.

All stallholders are requested to support this strategy by adhering to the following:

  1. All packaging and food utensils must be reusable or compostable. Single-use drink containers are to be eliminated.
  2. No plastic bags or soft plastic wrapping is to be supplied or sold to the public. Where unavoidable, signage or other materials should be provided to offer information about proper disposal.
  3. No balloons (helium or regular)
Expressions of interest forms to be returned by 15th February 2020, priority will be given to local traders. If you are a successful applicant you will be invoiced by 28th February 2020.
This form is an application only and does not guarantee you a spot at the Festival. If your application is successful you will be issued with an invoice. Payment of your invoice will secure a position at the festival. Payment must be made in advance and is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled due to inclement weather.
