The Cooroy Fusion Festival is being held on Saturday 9th May 2020 at Apex Park and the Lower Mill site in Cooroy. We forecast approx 10,000 attendees.
The 2020 Fusion Festival is being organised by the Cooroy Fusion committee and is being auspiced by the Cooroy Future Group.
Community stalls are offered on a space only basis and are free to not for profit organisations.
You will need to supply all your own equipment eg tables, marquee, etc. No power is available, if you need power you will need to have your own source and notify the organisers in advance. You are also required to have your own public liability insurance for $10 million and comply with health and safety standards.
This year the Cooroy Fusion Festival 2020 Committee is adopting a ‘Target Zero’ strategy (Zero Plastic, Zero Waste, Zero Carbon, Zero Footprint) and we ask all our sponsors and stall holders to join us in this endeavour. No plastic packaging or balloons are allowed, nor single-use plastic water bottles. This approach supports the Noosa Shire Council Guidelines for Sustainable Events.
All stallholders are requested to support this strategy by adhering to the following:
- All packaging and food utensils must be reusable or compostable. Single-use drink containers are to be eliminated.
- No plastic bags or soft plastic wrapping is to be supplied or sold to the public. Where unavoidable, signage or other materials should be provided to offer information about proper disposal.
- No balloons (helium or regular)
Setup will be from 6.30am to 8.30am and the event will run from 9am to 3.30pm.
