Cooroy’s annual Fusion Festival is offering up a fusion of tastes this year with Cooroy Supa IGA sponsoring a ” Tastes of the Hinterland ” marquee on Saturday 13 May.
“Cooroy Fusion is all about the best that Cooroy and the Noosa hinterland has to offer and a marquee that will showcase local food producers is a perfect way to do just that,” explained Chris Bell, Chairperson of Cooroy Fusion committee.
“Cooroy Supa IGA are wonderful supporters of local products and the Tastes of the Hinterland marquee will enable people to taste test a variety of foods that are produced locally. Last year, there were tastings from Noosa Meat Centre, Wimmers Soft Drinks, Wattle Valley Dips and Queensland Yoghurt to name a few. We are looking forward to seeing which local companies will be showcased this year!”
As well as sponsoring Tastes of the Hinterland, Cooroy Supa IGA also sponsor some children’s entertainment which means the kids can be kept entertained while the parents get into the serious business of treating their taste buds.
Cooroy Fusion Festival is run by the Cooroy Future Group Inc and couldn’t be produced without the support from festival partners Noosa Council and Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank and sponsors Cooroy Supa IGA, Greenwood Grove, Cooroy Chamber of Commerce, Wimmers, Suttons Cleaning Service, Raine & Horne, John Madill Toyota, Gelignite Jacks, Cooroy Service Centre, Palm Lake Resort, Fiona Winter Realty, Cartwright Lawyers, Mower & ATV Solutions, Chapmans Auto Repairs, McDermott Aviation, Firefly Solutions and Sunsign Coast. Come on down to Mill Place Cooroy on Saturday 13 May to catch the action and show your support!
