One of the favourite attractions of Cooroy Fusion Festival-goers is the Cooroy Supa IGA Tastes of the Hinterland marquee that showcases some fantastic local food producers. This year Cooroy Fusion is on Saturday 12 May and plans are shaping up for it to be another spectacular event.
“Cooroy Fusion is all about the best that Cooroy and the Noosa hinterland has to offer and Cooroy Supa IGA are wonderful supporters of this event and local products,” explained Chris Bell, Chairperson of Cooroy Fusion committee.
“The Tastes of the Hinterland marquee will enable people to taste test a variety of foods that are produced locally. Last year, there were tastings from Noosa Meat Centre, Pomodora Dressings, Popcorn Lovers, Brookfarm Mueseli and Bake with Me to name a few. We are looking forward to seeing which local companies will be showcased this year!”
Cooroy Supa IGA also sponsor some children’s entertainment which means the kids can be kept entertained while the parents get into the serious business of treating their taste buds.
“We’ve got some fantastic local products that we sell at Cooroy Supa IGA and Cooroy Fusion provides a great opportunity to support these producers by giving them the opportunity to showcase their products to a broader market,” said Romeo Bordignon of Cooroy Supa IGA.
Some of the other activities already confirmed for Cooroy Fusion Festival are the Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank Entertainment Tent, the Noosa Council Cooroy Library activities, Greenwood Grove Geckoes Wildlife Show, Cooroy RSL Pickled Possum Bar and Fiona Winter Realty’s volunteer support.
