Joy Machine – Parody at Fusion

joy machine cooroy fusionLocal parody group Joy Machine will be bringing their own brand of joy and laughter to the Bendigo Bank Entertainment tent at 11.40am on Saturday May 7th as part of Cooroy Fusion 2016.

Joy Machine celebrate life through transformation of songs into parodies so join us for a time of fun and self discovery. They love taking issues—mouse plagues, moving house, crashing computers—and putting silly slants on them. Silly, or parody, songs put new words to familiar tunes. For example the tune “Home on the Range” lends itself to “Phones Out of Range.”

Directed by Buderim award-winning parody singer/songwriter, Barbara Brewster, the group is modelled on Australia’s premier parody singers, The Shiny Bums in Canberra so make sure you don’t miss them front and centre on the main stage.
