Cooroy’s annual Fusion Festival is going to be just as wild as ever this year thanks to sponsors, Greenwood Grove who are sponsoring a Geckoes Wildlife show and display.
“We’ve had the Geckoes Wildlife show for the last few years and it is always one of the highlights. Thanks to Greenwood Grove’s sponsorship we will have a stage show and a display with the opportunity to get up close and personal to some wonderful wildlife,” explained Chris Bell, Chairperson of Cooroy Fusion committee.
The Geckoes Wildlife team have a wide range of specialist skills and knowledge in the environmental area such as endangered species, fauna friendly backyards and wildlife corridors so it is great fun to see the animals but it’s also a valuable learning experience for all ages!
“It’s quite apt that Greenwood Grove are sponsoring the wildlife show because the green corridor that borders the festival site and runs along Cooroy Creek shares a border with Greenwood Grove. This green corridor is a natural wildlife corridor and it’s great to see the developers of Greenwood Grove reinforcing this wildlife message,” said Chris.
Cooroy Fusion Festival is run by the Cooroy Future Group Inc and couldn’t be produced without the support from festival partners Noosa Council and Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank and sponsors Greenwood Grove, Cooroy Chamber of Commerce, Wimmers, Suttons Cleaning Service, Raine & Horne, John Madill Toyota, Gelignite Jacks, Cooroy Service Centre, Mower & ATV Solutions, Chapmans Auto Repairs, McDermott Aviation, Firefly Solutions and Sunsign Coast.
