The festival that started as a celebration for the opening of the Cooroy Library in 2010 has certainly come a long way in the six years it has been running, now attracting over 10,000 people each year. The key to their winning formula is that it taps into what is great about the Noosa Hinterland.
“We are so lucky to live in a wonderful spot with natural beauty, great local food, talented artists and performers, loads of culture and heritage, fantastic local shopping and overwhelming community spirit. Cooroy Fusion Festival is a fusion of all of the things that make Cooroy and Noosa so special. It sounds like a cliché but it really does have something for everyone plus it is just a really fun event. Everything is free so it is one of those truly magical community events that people flock to. Cooroy Chamber of Commerce are proud to sponsor the event again this year as it really does showcase the best of our region,” said Cooroy Chamber of Commerce president, Danielle Taylor.
