WELCOME TO COUNTRY

Representing the traditional owners of the land, local elder Lyndon Davis will share some stories and language of his people, the Gubbi Gubbi, as well as  demonstrating some amazing rhythms and animal calls on the world’s oldest musical instrument, the didgeridoo. TRIPLE MINX Three talented students from Saint Theresa’s Catholic College in Noosaville, Lara de Koster, Rhian Cruice (guitar) and Alice Mikkelsen (Bass) have formed a band, Triple Minx: with Lara on violin, Rhian on guitar and Alice on double bass. Their music style is cool and liberated, they play modern jazz, gypsy style and channel their individual abilities into soulful harmonies.
