The annual Cooroy Fusion Festival is a celebration of local artists, entertainers, artisans, food, community groups and much more. In 2017 it will be held on Saturday 13th May from 9.30am – 3pm
The festival is held in the Mill Place precinct in front of Cooroy Library and is dominated by the Cooroy Bendigo Bank Entertainment Tent where last year local artists such as AYLA and the Hi-Boys performed live on stage and Geckoes wildlife presentation let you get up close and personal with a slippery friend or two.
Cooroy Library housed classes, presentations and demonstrations all day ranging from Tai-Chi for the young at heart to Lego for the kids and their was a great literary component with a book sale and authors signings.
A fusion of tastes was catered for by our more than 20 different food stalls and our Artisans market showcases local products and entrepreneurs.
Many of the local community groups were present to showcase their activities plus their was the Annual Noosa Orchid Society Mothers Day Show and The Cooroora Woodworkers shows running concurrently to visit.
The Cooroy Fusion Festival really does have something for everyone so make sure you save the date for a great family day out. We look forward to seeing you there!
